united-b launches new style pro audio distribution for Germany
Formed to address the ever-changing needs of the German pro audio market, new distribution company United Brands for Event Technology, or united-b as it will be known, opened its doors on 1st November. And it has the world’s leading digital audio solutions manufacturer, DiGiCo, as its inaugural brand.
Headed up by Wolfgang Garçon, previously managing director of atlantic audio, united-b’s team, has extensive knowledge of the pro audio industry and will focus on specialised, hands-on support for its customers, ensuring they always get the best solution for every project, whether it be concert touring, live event, broadcast, temporary or fixed installation.
“We’re very excited about this new operation and delighted that we already have DiGiCo, one of pro audio’s most well-respected brands, in our portfolio,” says Wolfgang. “As we gain momentum, we will take on other well-known names, all of which will be companies that we have known and trusted for many years. This gives us the confidence to know that we are providing exactly what our customers need and that we can give them, and our brands, the service they truly deserve.”
James Gordon, Managing Director of DiGiCo, is encouraged by this new approach to distribution model and the opportunities it offers DiGiCo customers in the German market.
