PSP continues to invest in the best

UK A/V services company, PSP, has continued its rolling investment programme with the addition of more state-of-the-art equipment to its inventory.

Specialising in large screen projection and display, cameras and vision control, graphics, lighting, sound, set and stage design, PSP’s many high profile international clients have come to expect creative solutions that differentiate their events from their competitors, which means that the company has to stay at the leading edge of what products are available.

The recent purchase of a Panasonic AVS-400 multi-format live vision mixer, Christie S+20K Roadster projector, Barco DCS 200 dual channel seamless switcher and additional Grass Valley Turbo iDDR digital media recorder/players has visibly reinforced that commitment to quality.

“High definition is becoming more and more of a client requirement and so we have to ensure that we can deliver it whenever requested,” says PSP’s David Woodcock.

“The AVS-400 and DCS-200 are both tremendously versatile. With great input and output flexibility for all formats, they provide the ultimate in vision mixing and switching capabilities and are also remarkably cost effective.”

Providing high quality source content is essential to the success of any digital media production and PSP’s Grass Valley Turbo iDDR units have been fundamental to the company’s recent successes. Expanding that inventory due to overwhelming customer demand is a natural ‘next step’, complemented by the Christie S+20K Roadster projector, which ensures that optimum quality is maintained from source through to final delivery of material to the audience.

“We aim to deliver the ultimate in visual quality and, to achieve that, our systems need to comprise the ultimate in what is available,” adds Woodcock.

“Our clients recognise that we always strive to deliver above their expectations. Our ongoing programme of investment helps us to achieve that.”
