Lighthouse true-to-life display solutions stun InfoComm Asia
Hong Kong – 19th November 08 - Lighthouse Technologies Ltd., one of the leading LED display providers in the world, attends InfoComm Asia 2008, Asia’s premier show for cutting-edge AV technology, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), where it demonstrates the state-of-the-art 4mm R4-S rental LED panel driven by a first of its kind HDMI Integrated LED Processor for True HD reproduction, LIP-HD.
The new R4-S is a 4mm pixel pitch panel that brings greater pixel resolution to large display screens than ever seen before, making true HD reproduction possible thanks to the LIP-HD controller that drives it. These two flagship products demonstrate truly stunning HD images on a 40m2 screen Lighthouse erects specially for their booth at Infocomm Asia 2008. An output resolution of up to 1080p allows not just for such a large display, but also for ultra-deep color and true HD imaging for indoor applications.
“The R4-S with LIP-HD controller represent the future of LED display technology,” said Peter Chan, general manager of Lighthouse Technologies. “Music concerts, theatrical productions, sporting events—whether customers are looking to add dramatic impact, heighten their brand image or expand their advertising revenue streams, the R4 is a great way to see a rapid return on investment.”
In addition, the R4-S offers 2000 nits brightness, 140/90 (h/v) degree viewing angles, a 1000:1 contrast ratio and 100,000 hour lifetime. Its fan-less design is ideal for sound-level indoor applications, while its lightweight makes it easier to transport and install.
Lighthouse also holds a seminar on the future of video screen production, delivers by industry pioneer Paul Kalil, President and CEO of BSN, who discusses the impact HD technology and HD control rooms and production facilities have had on the industry.
“As a technology company, Lighthouse is always looking to the horizon, anticipating and creating future trends that will have tremendous impact on the LED display industry,” said Peter Chan. ”The R4-S reflects our commitment to creating impact, and we look forward expanding that impact throughout the global markets.”
